The age of the Earth is thought to be 4.54 billion years old. This is based on evidence from radiometric age dating of meteorite material and is consistent with the ages of the oldest-known terrestrial and lunar samples.And for a minute, part of that time man has been a part of it. In fact, it is only two and a half million years ago since a genus ”Homo” appeared and two hundred thousand years since humans started looking like they do today.
First man on Earth? The Neanderthals.
